‘Boy Meets World’ Character Mr. Turner Resurfaces In New Photo For ‘Girl Meets World’ Season 2
“Are you kidding me?” Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) is back! The beloved “Boy Meets World” teacher -- besides Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) -- is finally returning to the small screen after mysteriously disappearing from the series. As previously reported, he’ll be interacting with Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) in Season 2 of the Disney channel spinoff series “Girl Meets World.” And the first photos of his big comeback have been released!
The image, which was first released by E! Online, shows Mr. Turner (with significantly shorter hair) back in the classroom, standing next to Cory and his daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard). Fans can watch him make his debut on the spinoff series in an episode titled “Girl Meets the New Teacher.” However, no date for the “Boy Meets World” alum’s episode has been announced yet.
Fans of “Boy Meets World” last saw Mr. Turner in Season 4 when he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident shortly after he had a falling out with Shawn (Rider Strong), who'd lived with him briefly. The teacher ended up in a full body cast, and Shawn was forced to face reality.
“Don’t blow me off, God,” Shawn said in the emotional episode. “I never asked you for anything before and I never wanted to come to you like this, but don’t take Turner away from me; he’s not done yelling at me yet.”
Mr. Turner didn’t die, but viewers never saw him on screen again. During the high school graduation episode, the series jokingly addressed his absence by saying he was in another part of the school.
