KEY POINTS
- The trailer of "2 Kids Room" was released Wednesday
- "Kids Room" had seen them answering personal questions
- The group was named ambassador of the Korean Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai
Boyband Stray Kids will be starring in a new YouTube series that will premiere Monday, ahead of the group’s already sold-out fan meeting next month.
Fresh from their successful mini-concert in the Middle East, the fourth-generation boy band released the trailer of their upcoming 28-episode series titled, “2 Kids Room,” on Wednesday showing each of the members saying interesting one-liners.
It seems the new show shares the same concept as the unscripted YouTube series done earlier by the eight-member group called “Kids Room.”
On “Kids Room,” I.N, Bang Chan, Lee Know, Han, Hyunjin, Changbin, Seungmin and Felix took turns asking two alternating members unique questions that revealed some insights into their personalities.
The members would either give their best answer or answers the interviewer would like to hear. The interviewer would then eliminate the member who gave the worst answer in the game. The member that remained in the game is proclaimed the interviewer’s “soulmate.”
The teaser trailer for “2 Kids Room” opened with Seungmin asking “What are you up to?” followed by Chang Bin saying, “I just don’t like you.” I.N was also caught on-camera saying, “I admit that it was cute” followed by Bang Chan asking, “the tears I shed?”
Meanwhile, tickets for their second fan meeting on Feb. 12 and 13 in Seoul Olympic Hall are already sold-out.
Fans (known as STAY) immediately grabbed hold of tickets for the event, titled “2ND #LoveSTAY SKZ’s CHOCOLATE FACTORY,” as it became available Tuesday. The fan meeting can also be watched online through the concert streaming platform Beyond LIVE.
Stray Kids recently performed at the Expo 2020 Dubai concert after they were named ambassadors of the Korea Pavilion in the event.
The group was one of the invited performers from South Korea along with Psy and girl group (G)-Idle.
“We were looking so forward to this moment, ever since we were selected as ambassadors for the Korea pavilion,” Felix said on stage Sunday.
Han also announced the release of their compilation album featuring their best songs. Members of the group thanked their fans for their support of the track “Thunderous,” which reached over 100 million views on YouTube.
The group had also performed their massive hit “Thunderous” amid cheers and applause from their loyal fans.
