Brad Hopeful For Reconciliation With Pax Jolie Pitt Amid Alleged Estrangement From Maddox?

The last few years hasn’t been easy for Brad Pitt. Despite the success in his career, the “Ad Astra” star struggled with his family’s situation —him being away from his kids.

What happened between Pitt and his adoptive son, Maddox Jolie Pitt, is something that’s not new to the public. There had been previous reports saying that his estranged relationship with his eldest son is no longer repairable, with Maddox seemingly not caring about the situation.

Although his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie reportedly tried to help out to mend the father and son’s broken bond, it seemed that things won’t ever go back to the way it was. Amid the controversies surrounding Pitt and his relationship Maddox, a source revealed to US Weekly that Pitt’s still optimistic about the situation. With their eldest son away, Pitt is hopeful that he can reconnect and still save his relationship the Pax.

The supposed source told the news outlet of Pitt’s hope that Pax would still be interested in reconnecting with him given that he’s away from his brother’s influence. Maddox is now a freshman at Yonsei University in South Korea.

Jolie previously revealed that her children were very close and supportive of each other. Back in August, the “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” actress dropped Maddox off in South Korea and an insider told Hollywood Life, that Pax, Zahara Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox already missed him.

As soon as Maddox left, Pax took charge. He knew that this experience deeply saddens his mom so he ensured that she’s well-supported as soon as she arrived from overseas. Pax accompanied his mom to a dinner after her arrival from South Korea, shopping and even during the red carpet premiere of Jolie’s recent movie, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.”

It’s been three years since Pitt and Jolie filed for divorce and until now, the proceedings continue. There had been underlying issues but the last straw was reportedly the altercation Pitt had with Maddox. Years past and although most people believe in the saying “time heals wounds,” it’s quite different for Maddox. A source told the news outlet, US Weekly, that the eldest son hasn’t been receptive.

Amid this milestone in his family, particularly in his son’s life, Pitt was nowhere near any of them. But who could blame him? He also underwent his own healing path. Nevertheless, fans are hopeful that things will fall into place soon and the issue among the Jolie -– Pitt clan will get resolved.
