Brad Pitt fever was in full force Thursday as filming continued on the Glasgow set of his upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie film, World War Z.
The 47-year-old actor has been in town with director Marc Forster (Finding Neverland, Quantum of Solace) and swarms of extras for the project, based on the bestselling novel by Max Brooks.
Pitt fever has been stirring among locals in Glasgow.
As filming for Hollywood blockbuster 'World War Z got under way in the city's Cochrane Street yesterday there was only one question on everyone's lips: 'Have you seen Brad yet?' wrote the Herald Scotland.
The scene on Cochrane Street - which has been completely transformed to look like Philadelphia - involved hundreds of panic-stricken people running through rows of cars and buildings to escape zombies, noted another local paper.
In the film, Pitt stars as United Nations employee Gerry Lane, with Mireille Enos (Big Love) as his wife. Bryan Cranston Breaking Bad), Elyes Gabel (Game of Thrones) and James Badge Dale (24, Rubicon) complete the cast.
World War Z, produced by Pitt's studio Plan B Entertainment and UTV Motion Pictures, arrives in theaters on Dec. 21, 2012.
