Bradley Cooper Losing Friends For Being 'Self-Absorbed' Following Success? Truth Revealed
After false rumors about Bradley Cooper's fame and success following "A Star Is Born" Oscar win changing his behavior, a new report claimed his very “self-absorbed” attitude is costing him his friends. In a latest report by Star magazine, an unnamed source claimed that Cooper is losing his friends as his ego is out of control, but this speculation has been debunked.
“A lot of his longtime supporters have just up and vanished, and he counted on them being a lot more vocal about the movie,” the magazine’s source said, adding that the actor’s friends have become “sick of their superficial friend” and are tired of his "inflated ego."
However, there seems to be no truth to any of these claims. Gossip Cop also confirmed that the rumors are false and Cooper "still has plenty of friends."
The Star magazine's source named Jennifer Garner as one of Cooper's friends who wants nothing to do with the actor because of his recent behavioral change. This claim is completely untrue as it was only last week when Copper met up with his former "Alias" co-star at her home where they enjoyed dinner together with Cooper's girlfriend, Irina Shayk, and his mother, Gloria.
Cooper was also spotted recently having lunch with his friend Freddie Prinze Jr. in Los Angeles. He and his "Hangover" co-stars and several other celebrities were also together at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles last week to pay tribute to their late friend, comedian Brody Stevens, who died in February.
Recently, OK! magazine had a similar claim made by a source who said Cooper's ego was getting out of control. “The fact that he expected to be handed a load of Oscars turned people off," the so-called insider claimed. The source went on to claim that Cooper is "hoping to reconnect with some of his old buddies," but he apparently "needs to stop taking himself so seriously."
However, Gossip Cop declined these rumors and an insider close to Cooper said: “Nothing has changed with him. If you ask any of his friends they would say the same."
