'Bravely Second' Coming To 3DS In Japan In April, No US Release Date Announced
“Bravely Default” sequel “Bravely Second” is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on April 23, 2015, and the role-playing game is also getting an exclusive Collector’s Pack.
The limited edition pack will come with a “Bravely Default 200 Years Later” art and novel book, a mini soundtrack, U’s Journal, a rubber strap, in-game downloadable clothing code, the “Bravely Second” game and a mini figurine.
The collector’s edition will cost 14,800 yen, or $123. Video game developer Square Enix hasn’t said when the game will reach players in the U.S.
“Bravely Second” will take place in the same universe as its predecessor, occurring several years after the events of the first game. “Bravely Default” launched in Japan in 2012, and a Western version reached buyers in 2013 and 2014. The game sold more than 140,000 copies within one week during its launch week in Japan, and 200,000 copies within one week in the U.S. In July 2014, Square Enix said the game had sold 1 million copies worldwide.
