Briana DeJesus, Kailyn Lowry To Get Plastic Surgery Again? Dr. Miami Says It’s A Growing 'Phenomenon'
“Teen Mom 2” stars Briana DeJesus and Kailyn Lowry had plastic surgery performed by renowned surgeon Dr. Miami, and if they wanted to get their post-baby bodies back in shape like they used to, they wouldn’t be alone.
“It’s actually an increasing phenomenon where women will have two or three tummy tucks in the course of their child bearing years,” Dr. Miami, whose real name is Michael Salzhauer, told International Business Times in an exclusive phone interview. “The ‘Teen Moms’ are an example.”

Salzhauer noted that if a woman becomes pregnant when she’s a teenager, it’s likely she’ll have two tummy tucks. “When they get pregnant in their teen years, then their child grows up and they realized they didn’t have a chance to enjoy their pre-baby body,” he said about getting a tummy tuck before a woman is finished having children.
“Sometimes the relationship they were in don’t work out and that’s common,” he said about teen mothers. “So now you have a single mom who wants to find someone else and wants more kids. It’s not fair to say, ‘Wait until you’re done having kids,’ [to have a tummy tuck.’”
While having multiple tummy tucks might sound risky, Dr. Miami said there is no medical reason a woman couldn’t have more than one.
“You can have 10,” he said. “As long as there’s extra skin, you can have tummy tuck.”
Dr. Miami stayed in contact with DeJesus and Lowry after their January 2015 procedures. If they wanted to get more work done by him, he is willing to offer his services.
“I’m looking forward to helping them,” he said. “They’re great patients.”
Dr. Miami noted he likes to keep a relationship with all his patients, not just the celebrities. “I give out my private information so they could contact me,” he said. “I try to keep in touch with all my patients. I like to keep up with everyone.”
He added that people who go to him for more work make for better patients. “Its like going to a hair dresser who knows how to do your hair,” he said. “It’s easier the second time because they know what to expect.”
If they ever need “a little touch up,” they know who to call.

DeJesus showed proof that she was in communication with the Miami-based doctor. She posted a screenshot of their conversation to Twitter.
“This is why I love him so much,” she captioned a photo of their text message exchange in April. “Got so many new ideas on what I wanna do!!!!! Stay tuned!!!!”
Her message to the doctor read: “I’m pregnant again so hopefully when I give birth. I would love to work with you again! Things are falling out of place.”
“Teen Mom 2” airs Monday at 9 p.m. EDT on MTV.
