‘Bride And Prejudice’ Spoilers: Kee Kee And Kareem Have Blowout Fight [Exclusive Video]
“Bride and Prejudice: Forbidden Love” is getting intense for Kiandria Demone and Kareem Allen. Their families are against them, and in this International Business Times exclusive video from the Lifetime reality show (above), they seem to be turning on each other. They get into a blowout fight in Wednesday’s episode.
“You are so focused on getting their approval, you are forgetting about your fiancée,” Kiandria, AKA Kee Kee, says in the clip. “You’re not stopping to ask me how I feel, and right now, I’m not happy.”
Kareem claims that’s what he is doing right now, but Kee Kee thinks it should’ve been done sooner. She says “it’s too late” because she’s upset now.
“I don’t care anymore if it comes off as selfish. This is my life, my relationship and, ultimately, my wedding. I’m allowed to be selfish,” she reasons.
Kareem says that he thought they joined “Bride and Prejudice” to unite their families for her, but it doesn’t seem like she’s on the same page anymore. Kee Kee gets irritated and says no one asks what she wants.
“If it was for me, somebody would ask me what I want, and I don’t want you constantly chasing my mama and ignoring me,” the bride-to-be says.
Kareem says that he’s doing it all for her, but Kee Kee wants him to focus on what she needs. He asks exactly what she needs right now. She wants him to acknowledge her feelings and stop looking at the goal of uniting their families for a minute.
“I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut off,” Kareem tells her. “I’m doing a lot of work. Have you ever stopped to consider my feelings in this?”
Kee Kee blows up hearing that. “Are you kidding me?” she asks.
She feels like he is making her out to be the bad guy. She says she doesn’t care about her mother or experts like Pastor Cal Roberson. She just cares about her husband’s actions, and Kareem says she doesn’t consider other people. She’s only been talking about herself throughout the filming process, he alleges.
“I’m not doing this. I’m done,” she tells him.
In a confessional with the cameras, Kee Kee says, “What good is my mom’s approval of Kareem if I don’t even approve of Kareem?”
“Bride and Prejudice: Forbidden Love” airs Wednesdays after “Married at First Sight” on Lifetime.
