Phoebe Dynevor and Pete Davidson sparked dating rumors after they were spotted holding hands and embracing in the U.K. last weekend, a report says
The "Bridgerton" actress and "Saturday Night Live" star packed on PDA as they went on a stroll together in the village of Caverswall, Staffordshire, in England on Sunday, an unnamed eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight.
"It seemed like they were a couple because they were holding hands and hugging while walking," the source continued. "They looked very happy and were smiley together."
The eyewitness went up to the comedian and asked him if he was Davidson, and he gave a hilarious response that made Dynevor chuckle.
"He said 'no' in a fake British accent. He proceeded to tell me how he had been trying to trick people with his English accent," the source added. "Phoebe laughed along when Pete did his English accent."
The eyewitness requested for a photo with Davidson, "and Phoebe stood by." "After we took the picture, they walked away holding hands," the source added.
Dynevor and Davidson were first romantically linked to each other earlier this week after Page Six reported that the comedian flew from New York to the actress' hometown of Manchester in the U.K. On Sunday, he was spotted in Altrincham, Greater Manchester — where Dynevor has been staying with her mother during the pandemic.
“He was quite tall and wearing a good outfit, which isn’t normal around here, and his face is very recognizable,” one resident told Page Six of Davidson.
Davidson was engaged to Ariana Grande in 2018 and was then linked to Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley and Kaia Gerber following his split from the singer.
Just recently, a woman was nabbed inside his home after she broke into his Staten Island property and claimed that they were married and had started a production company together. He has since denied her claims.
"Not a word of it is true," Davidson's lawyer said about the issue. "Mr. Davidson has no idea who this person is. We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies."
Meanwhile, Dynevor was previously linked to recruitment executive Simon Merrill and "Skins" star Sean Teale. She also sparked romance rumors with her "Bridgerton" co-star Regé-Jean Page, but they both denied that they were anything more than friends.
The actor said that their on-screen chemistry was due to the "beautiful scripts" that told a convincing love story. "I think that everything you need to know is on camera. The sparky words, scripts, and material are more than enough," Page explained.
Dynevor and Page will reunite for "Bridgerton" Season 2, which begins filming this spring.
