Brit Awards: Jessie J Reveals Sex Of First Baby

Jessie J excitedly revealed the sex of her first baby before walking the red carpet of the 2023 Brit Awards on Saturday.

The "Price Tag" singer took to Instagram and posted a video of her singing a capella to an upcoming single. She wrote, "Since I wrote this song every time I play it or sing it he moves like crazy...so I think this song is the one."

"Oh yeah...I'm having a boy and I promise I am wearing underwear," the 34-year-old "Domino" artist added.

She later showed up at the London awards show in a bright red two-piece ensemble that perfectly exposed her baby bump.

The singer, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, completed the look with a bright red fur coat, a pair of pumps and gloves, her hair slicked neatly into a bun. She featured her fabulous mom-to-be red carpet style in another video she posted on Instagram on Sunday.

The video showed the "Ice Age: Collision Course" voice actress gamely posing for cameras on the red carpet.

"Last time I walked this red carpet was 10 years go. MAD. Them.. 'Can we get a profile shot?' Me... 'Of what?' I've missed 'JESSSAY JESSAAAAAAaaay this way... JESSAAY' 😂 @brits thank you for having me," she wrote.

The "Nobody's Perfect" singer also took to her Instagram stories and posted more behind-the-scenes happenings at the awards ceremony including one where she could be seen spreading butter on bread. She wrote, "While everyone else mingled, I stole bread baskets from other tables and pounded sparkling water."

She also uploaded a moment when Harry Styles took the stage and moved the audience with his live performance of "As It Was."

"@Harrystyles is an incredible performer and made time to come over to me after winning two awards to congratulate me. What a gent. So happy for you," Jessie wrote. Styles actually won four categories in this year's Brit Awards: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Pop/R&B Act.

Jessie's gender reveal comes a month after her exciting announcement that she is expecting a rainbow baby after her miscarriage in 2021.

"I am so happy and terrified to finally share this," Jessie captioned an emotional video in January showing her pregnancy test kit, her sonogram and pictures of her proudly showing her baby bump. It also included a short clip showing her cradling an imaginary baby.
