Britney Spears Back On Instagram But Fans Are Worried: 'Where Is Our Brit?'

Britney Spears is back on Instagram after taking a brief hiatus from the photo-sharing platform saying she couldn't stay away from it for too long, but her fans are worried.

The pop princess, 39, took a social media break following her engagement to Sam Asghari, 27, last week. Her lawyer confirmed that it was her decision. Just days after deleting her Instagram, the "Toxic" singer is now back on it.

She shared two photos on the platform, a black and white selfie and a colored version of the same snap, taken over the weekend. In the caption, she explained that she couldn't leave Instagram for too long.

"Some shots from my weekend getaway to celebrate my engagement with my ... holy s--t ... FIANCÉ ... I still can’t believe it !!!!" she wrote. "I couldn’t stay away from the gram too long so I’m back already !!!! Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions."

Spears' post received a lot of questions because in the photos she is still rocking her long blonde hair. Many pointed out that in her last sighting, she had short red hair.

"Girl [your] hair is red cmon!" one commented.

"New pics? What happened to the red [hair]?" a different user added.

"I thought you cut and dyed your hair? #freebritney," another wrote.

"Where’s the red Britney?" a fourth user asked.

While many were wondering what happened to her hair, several warmly welcomed her back. They were happy to see her back on the platform again.

"WELCOME BACK!! We missed you," one wrote with smiling face with heart-eyes emoji.

"SHES BACKKKKK," another added.

"Hope you had the best time!!" Sarah Nicole Landry commented.

Spears also shared another dancing video. In the caption, she said it was taken in July as part of a series of clips and that she showcased different dance moves in it. However, her post got her fans worried.

"Are you trying to tell us something?" one asked.

"Where is Britney????" another inquired.

"GIVE HER INSTAGRAM BACK WE KNOW THE RECENT PICS ARE FROM FEBRUARY," another user wrote.

"Where is our Brit with her red hair?" a different user added.

"Where is Britney ???? The photo just posted is from February!" another stated.

"We want a video of Britney saying she’s okay with today’s newspaper," a different user opined.

Spears deleted her Instagram account last week just days after her engagement. Prior to that, she shared a message about her freedom and conservatorship battle.

"Growing up in a world where basically almost everything I did was controlled by someone else... I hope this message gets to people who have been confused or manipulated by a system!!!!" she wrote.

"No, you’re not alone and no, you’re not crazy!!!! People need to hear this before it’s TOO LATE!!!! I’ve waited 13 years and counting for my freedom!!!!! Again... team #FreeBritney you guys f–king kick a--!!!!! Love you so much and God bless!!!"
