Britney Spears Gives A Sneak Peek Of Her Wedding Veil [Photo]
Britney Spears shared a glimpse of her wedding veil on Instagram on Sunday, featuring her new cat named Wendy. In the photo, the cat can be seen sitting on the singer's white wedding veil.
"Introducing Wendy," the 40-year-old singer wrote in the caption of the post, adding: "And yes, this is the veil to my wedding dress !!!"
In the photo, the veil was seemingly kept on a floral carpet while Wendy sat on the veil and looked straight into the camera.
Fans immediately took to the comments section to share their love for the new cat and wish Spears Happy Mother's Day. "Wendy needed her own thread," one of the fans wrote, while another fan commented, "Hi Wendy! Happy Mother’s Day Britney!"
Spears announced last month via Instagram that she is expecting her first baby with the 28-year-old actor, Sam Asghari.
Asghari, on the other hand, took to Instagram Stories to wish Spears Happy Mother's Day and reveal that the wedding date has been finalized. "Our lives has been a real life fairytale," he wrote on the photo that featured them sharing a kiss. "Happy Mother’s Day to you my soon to be queen."
"Also the big day has been set! But nobody will know until the day after," he added. A Twitter user shared a screenshot of the Instagram Story.
On the personal front, Spears and Asghari began their relationship in January 2017 after meeting for the first time in 2016 on the set of the music video for "Slumber Party."
Since then, the couple has been actively sharing their photos doing things together like hiking, cycling, celebrating birthdays and attending events.
Spears shares two kids - Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15 - with ex-husband, singer Kevin Federline. The former couple were married from 2004 to 2007. Spears was also married to singer Jason Allen Alexander for a year in 2004.
On the work front, Asghari recently appeared in TV series like "Dollface," "PBC," "When We Grow Up" and "Black Monday." The actor will be next seen in the movie, "Hot Seat," which is helmed by director James Cullen Bressack.
