Britney Spears Opens 2016 Billboard Music Awards With ‘Toxic,’ ‘Womanizer’ And Other Hit Songs [VIDEO]
Britney Spears opened the 2016 Billboard Music Awards Sunday with a killer performance that definitely brought back the nostalgia! The singer performed a medley of some of her greatest hits reminding everyone why she’s one of the best.
Spears kicked off her performance by singing “Work B----,” from her 2013 self-titled album. She followed it with “Womanizer,” which included a sexy dance break, “I Love Rock ’n’ Roll” and “I’m a Slave 4 U.” She closed her performance with “Toxic.”Judging from the crowd singing along with her, it’s safe to say everyone enjoyed Spears’ performance.

Hosts Ciara and Ludacris also gave Spears a shout-out, with the “I Bet” singer saying that it was an “amazing” performance. “That was good,” Ludacris agreed.
Besides taking the stage to perform, the 34-year-old is also going to receive the Millennium Award, which honors an artist’s career achievements and the influence they’ve had on the music industry. Spears is the third person to receive the award. Beyoncé got the honor in 2011 and Whitney Houston was acknowledged with it in 2012.
Spears is far from the only musician performing at the Billboard Music Awards. Justin Bieber, DNCE, Ariana Grande, Kesha, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and Rihanna are some of the other singers slated to take the stage.
