Britney Spears Pregnant? Why Fans Are Speculating If Singer Is Expecting 3rd Child

Britney Spears has sparked pregnancy rumors with her latest social media post.

On Friday, the 40-year-old singer shared on Instagram a video highlighting the stomach of a heavily pregnant woman. The fetus can be seen moving inside their mom's belly in the clip.

"Mommy … get me out of here," Spears wrote in the caption, adding a clenched teeth emoji, eye-roll emoji, a smiling face emoji and a rose emoji.

Spears' fans immediately began speculating if the "Toxic" hitmaker may be hinting that she's expecting her third child.

"Got something to tell us?" read one comment, while another follower asked, "Are you pregnant??"

"STOP!!! I almost had a heart attack. Oh my god, baby no. 3 is coming," a third person commented, while another said, "I think she's been subtly hinting she is."

Others suggested that Spears may just be expressing that she's looking forward to having another child.

"I hope that when you do get pregnant — if you're not [expecting a baby now] and just teasing us — that you will have a healthy pregnancy and healthy and happy mom and baby. You've longed for this for so long and nobody can stop you now. We love you, Britney," one fan wrote.

"All that she wants is another baby," a second follower commented.

Spears shares two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline — Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15.

The pop superstar, who is currently engaged to personal trainer and actor Sam Asghari, previously revealed that she hopes to have a child with her fiancé.

In November 2021, Spears shared on Instagram a black-and-white photo of a mom and a baby's legs, along with the message: "I'm thinking about having another baby!!! I wonder if this one is a girl ... She's on her toes reaching for something, that's for sure!!!!⁣"

Spears once more announced her wish to start a family with her future husband when she posted a sweet tribute for Asghari on his birthday earlier this month.

"Happy birthday to my fiancé … I love you so much … I want a family with you … I want it all with you!!!!" Spears wrote alongside a photo of them posing by the beach.

"Millions of things to wish for [red heart emoji], I only have one wish," Asghari replied to her post, adding a heart eyes emoji.

Last year, Spears revealed in court that she wants to get married and have another baby but was unable to due to her conservatorship.

"I want to have the real deal. I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told right now under the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby," Spears told a Los Angeles Superior Court judge during a June 2021 court hearing about her "abusive" conservatorship.

"I have an [IUD] inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant," she explained. "I wanted to take the [IUD] out so I could start trying to have another baby but this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have children."

The conservatorship that oversaw Spears' life and finances for nearly 14 years was finally terminated in November 2021.
