Brittany Furlan Net Worth: Tommy Lee, Social Media Star Get Married

Drummer Tommy Lee and social media star Brittany Furlan got married Thursday, a year after he proposed to her.

The "Motley Crue" drummer started dating Furlan, who was a viral star on video-sharing app Vine, in 2017. However, Lee claimed to have known and followed her on Vine for much longer, calling her funny, stupid, cute and beautiful.

Meanwhile, Furlan spoke about their relationship on a Netflix documentary called “The American Meme” in 2018. She said, “I met someone who I can trust because I didn’t trust anybody that I’ve dated before. I’d say Tommy is my first true love and I am finally safe and happy.”

Furlan, 32 and Lee, 56, took to Instagram to announce their wedding but did not share any pictures of the actual ceremony. Furlan, however, posted a picture of her dogs in wedding attire; one of them wore a tuxedo while the other wore a wedding dress. Furlan also tweeted that she changed her name to "Brittany Furlan Lee."

As of 2018, Furlan’s net worth was estimated to be $800,000. Meanwhile, Lee’s net worth, as of 2018, was $70 million.

She gets paid for her endorsements on YouTube and Instagram. Furlan became famous on Vine in 2013, before which she was an actress and made her television debut in "Reality Hell" in 2009. She joined Vine since it was promoted on Instagram where she would post six-second clips of witty sketches. It was her videos that helped her get more than 1 million followers in the first year itself. She quit the app in 2015, two years before the app was shut down.

She managed to become the most popular female star and the third most popular personality on Vine with over 9 million followers. She started her own YouTube channel where she posted vlogs of her daily life and they had more than 290,000 views and over 15.5 million lifetime views. Other than that, she has a steady social media following as well. Her Instagram page has more than 2.3 million followers and her content gets more than 80,000 likes per post.

Furlan also acted in several films like “We Are Your Friends”, “Dreamland” and “Random Tropical Paradise” along with mini-series such as “All Wrong”, “Foursome” and “Confess”. She also made special appearances in a number of shows and launched her own clothing line in 2015 which she promoted on her Twitter page. She has more than 290,000 followers on Twitter.

While this was Furlan’s first wedding, Lee was married thrice before. He was married to model Elaine Margaret Starchuck from 1984-85. He then married Heather Locklear in 1986 but they separated in 1993 after which he married Pamela Anderson in 1995 and they split up in 1998. Anderson and Lee have two sons together — Brandon and Dylan.

Lee is known as the founder and drummer for the band Motley Crue which sold more than 100 million albums worldwide.

The couple was rumored to have been married in May after Lee posted a picture on Instagram kissing Furlan in front of an empty wedding altar. Later, Furlan cleared the rumors on her on Instagram that they had just “snagged someone else’s wedding alter” for the picture.
