Bruce Jenner Gets Own Reality Show On E! Network? No, 'Kardashian' Producer Says
Bruce Jenner will not get a spin-off series on E!, the television channel that airs the Kardashian-Jenner brood’s famous reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” according to multiple reports. Though the former Olympian has never addressed the rumors, he’s transitioning into a woman and wants to document his journey.
Even though he will appear on Season 10 of “KUWTK,” it seems unlikely he will get his own show with the network, USA Today reported Monday.
“He's in all the way to the very end of it. Beyond that there is, to my knowledge, no series in production that, as we said, is its own series. That's really the current situation,” “KUWTK” Executive Producer Jeff Jenkins told the news site. “As of right now, there's no ‘Keeping Up With Bruce Jenner.’”
One of the reasons he might not get his own show is because of ex-wife Kris Jenner, Radar Online reported. The Kardashian matriarch thinks Jenner’s reported show would compete with hers.
“The Jenners are now fresh, new and they are a lot more interesting to America lately than the Kardashians,” an insider told Radar Online. “Part of her believes that Bruce is doing the transition to one-up her and get even for all the trauma that she put him through.”
Kris wants to make sure her ex-husband does not get a show. “Kris is doing everything in her power to make sure that Bruce does not get a spin-off show,” an insider tells Radar. “She has even gone so far as to say that she will not allow the Kardashians to be involved at all if Bruce gets his own show.”
One of the things that has peaked public interest is Jenner’s ever-changing look. He recently got plumper lips to feel more youthful and feminine, Hollywood Life reported. If he were to undergo a sex-change operation, it could be done as soon as the summer, the New York Post’s Page Six wrote.
“The therapy was required by the doctor that will be performing Bruce’s sex change operation,” a source told Page Sex. “And it has helped Bruce tremendously.”
