- Callen said he won’t be releasing a statement on the issue

Bryan Callen has come out with another video in which he can be seen denying all the allegations of sexual misconduct that have been leveled against him. In the video, Callen also revealed that he will be taking a “leave of absence” from his podcast following the accusations.
Taking it to Instagram, the 53-year-old comedian started the video by saying that a person who is in the same situation as he is in right now gets a lot of pieces of advice on how to handle such grim situations. However, he is not going to take any advice and stay mum about everything that is happening. He made it clear that he won’t be coming out with a statement regarding the issue.
"When you're in a situation like I am, you get a lot of advice from a lot of different people, and it usually falls into two different categories. They either tell you to post a statement and disappear or they say to lay low and let the news cycle pass you by. Well, for better or for worse, I'm not doing any of that,” Callen said in the video.
Later in the video, Callen noted that he never thought he would be defending himself for “something” that he did not do 21 years ago. The comedian “categorically” denied all the accusations of sexual misconduct.
He also shared that he is being characterized into a man that is way different fom who he is, and his family, friends, and fans know the truth.
“I never thought in a million years I would be sitting here defending myself against something I did not do 21 years ago. I categorically and absolutely deny all the allegations against me. I wanted you to hear that come out of my mouth. Those are not things that I could do, those are not things that I would ever do. That is not how I have ever lived my life,” Callen said in the video.
The “Schooled” star also thanked his fans for their never-ending support and said that he needs their support now more than ever.
On July 31, The Los Angeles Times published an article detailing the stories of several women who accused the actor of sexual assault and misconduct. In the article, a female comedian claimed Callen offered to give her stage time and money if she gave him oral sex.
