Bryce Dallas Howard Shares Photo From 'Jurassic World Dominion' Set: 'Dinos Are Cool'
Bryce Dallas Howard has shared a selfie featuring the original stars from the first installment of the sci-fi action movie, "Jurassic Park," including Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill.
The photograph also featured actors Chris Pratt, Mamoudou Athie, Howard and DeWanda Wise. "LOVE. THESE. HUMANS. (the dinos are cool too)," Howard captioned the photo that she shared on Twitter Monday.
Fans shared their reactions in the comments section.
"The dinos stink. Never seen such worse designs and execution in a plotline. As campy as Jurassic World was; somehow, your director made the experience worse," one of the users wrote.
However, another user explained that the upcoming movie is on the track of author Micheal Crichton's novels. He wrote the "Jurassic Park" novel in 1990.
"This take is so bad. Jurassic World put the series back on track. Micheal Crichton himself would’ve been happy to see them. They not only make references to his Jurassic works, but a lot of his other books," a fan explained.
"This makes me so happy! Seeing everyone together! My heart can’t take it. I grew up with them and you guys…I am beyond excited for June!" another fan commented.
Dern posted the same selfie on Instagram Monday and wrote, "Jurassic family" in the caption.
Goldblum also took to Instagram over the weekend to share a series of photos of him reuniting with original cast members - Dern and Neill. "REUNITED!!!" the 69-year-old actor captioned the post.
"Jurassic Park" originally dropped in 1993 and it was helmed by director Steven Spielberg. The director went on to make the sequel in 1997 titled, "The Lost World: Jurassic Park."
The third installment of the movie was released in 2001 and it was helmed by director Joe Johnston. Since then, no other installment was released until Colin Trevorrow's "Jurassic World," which was released in 2015, starring Pratt.
"Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" was helmed by J. A. Bayona and was released in 2018. However, with the upcoming installment, "Jurassic World Dominion" director Trevorrow will mark his return to the franchise.
Trevorrow previously revealed that the upcoming movie is set four years after the events of 2018's "Fallen Kingdom." The flick is slated to release in theaters on June 10.
