  • BTS has a total of 23 Guinness World Records already

The new single of BTS, called "Butter," is expected to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Digital Sales charts next week.

Forbes reported that the second English-language track of the K-pop supergroup has not been out long enough to appear on most Billboard charts. However, the song is likely to debut at No. 1 in various tallies.

"Butter" entered the Billboard Adult Pop Airplay chart at No. 40, which is still impressive since it was able to garner several views just a few days after its official release.

Last year, BTS' "Dynamite" peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Adult Pop Airplay chart. With the exemplary early performance of "Butter" in terms of views and stream counts, it is projected to effortlessly climb up the ranking.

On Tuesday, the Guinness World Records announced that "Butter" set five new world records. The official music video of the latest BTS track peaked with 3.9 concurrent viewers on YouTube for its premiere on May 21.

The number helped "Butter" earn the record for the most viewers for the premiere of a music video on YouTube. The video also broke the record for the most viewers for the premiere of any video on YouTube.

Additionally, the "Butter” music video also got a whopping 108.2 million views in its first 24 hours and surpassed BTS' own record of 101.1 million views for "Dynamite." The number also made the clip the most-viewed YouTube music video in the first 24 hours by a K-pop group and the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by any artist.

"Butter" also set the record for the most streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours. The song had more than 11 million global streams on its first day, beating Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's 2019 hit song "I Don't Care."

BTS has about 26.9 million monthly listers on the popular music streaming platform. Among the group's most-streamed songs are "Dynamite," "Boy with Luv" and "Life Goes On."

With the latest achievements, BTS already has a total of 23 Guinness World Records, putting them alongside the ranks of some of the most successful artists in history such as Ariana Grande, Madonna, Mariah Carey and The Beatles.
