BTS rapper Suga had a fanboy moment when he met his idol, BIGBANG singer Taeyang.

"I'm so nervous. It's because I'm such a huge fan," the 29-year-old "Tony Montana" rapper said as he shook hands with Taeyang on the latest episode of his YouTube series, "Suchwita."

The pair shared two kinds of traditional Korean beverages brought by Taeyang.

"It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that BIGBANG practically made BTS," Suga told Taeyang. "You were musicians whom I aspired to be like as a kid.

The "DOPE" singer did not hold back and added, "You were unrivaled. I remember when I was young, I still remember; I think I was a trainee, I was watching 'MAMA' (Mnet Asian Music Awards), I told myself, 'I want to be like him.' That's what I really said."

Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, went on to say that the whole group admires the 34-year-old "Haru Haru" singer.

"The guys all love you. When we were younger...when Jungkook turned 20, we said, 'Let's go out for a drink' and we went to a karaoke place and sang 'Bang Bang Bang' about 100 times. We had memorized the entire choreography. We loved you that much," Suga told a visibly flattered Taeyang.

The pair also listened to Taeyang's new single, "Vibe" – his collaboration with BTS' Jimin.

Taeyang shared that Jimin had put in a lot of effort and re-recorded his part 15 times. He said the BTS member did not stop until he made everything right.

"Jimin, he works so hard until he gets it right. Even I couldn't keep up with him," Taeyang said and Suga replied, "Jungkook is kind of the genius type. I'm not saying he doesn't work hard but he has a lot of natural talent. Jimin really worked hard for it. He's a genius in a different way."

Taeyang also explained how Jimin ended up being featured in his single. The "Ringa Linga" artist said his producers celebrated his military discharge by creating a song for him two years ago. It was actually Black Label entertainment company's co-founder Teddy Park who brought up the idea of collaborating with Jimin.

Hearing this, Suga recalled how Jimin was hugely influenced by Taeyang, "He really studied you! I'm not kidding. You've never heard of him doing an impression of you, right? He even copies how you talk."

Suga also expressed his wish to produce a song for Taeyang. The two agreed they will grab the chance to work together when an opportunity comes up.
