Caitlyn Jenner Under Fire After Slamming Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian

Caitlyn Jenner is under fire after her interview on “Good Morning Britain” on Monday.

On her Instagram account, the former Olympian shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself from the interview and received flak for her appearance, choices and her relationship with her family. Some critics called Jenner a “fraud” for supporting those who are against the LGBTQ community. Others urged her to watch her “nasty mouth” and be careful with what she says about her ex-wife, Kris Jenner, and stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian.

In her “Good Morning Britain” interview, Jenner admitted that she has not spoken to Kris and Kardashian in the past couple of months. “I went overboard to be nice, to be friendly, to be open, but also tell my story and my side of the story. Since the book came out, I’ve never talked to Kris again. Kim, I haven’t talked to in six, nine months, whatever it is,” she said.

Jenner’s memoir, “Secrets of My Life,” was released earlier this year. In the book, the former reality TV star shared some details about her tumultuous marriage to Kris. Despite her family’s negative reactions, Jenner maintained that she’s very proud of her book. “Unfortunately, the Kardashians, particularly Kris, didn’t react that way,” she said.

Despite their ongoing issues, Jenner said that Kardashian still means a lot to her. “I love Kim. She’s a great person. I have such respect for her as a mother, as a businessperson, but like Kris, she is very opinionated, but that’s OK. I love that about her,” she shared.

Jenner also revealed that it was Kardashian whom she first spoke with regarding the issues surrounding her book. At first, the mom-of-two was very straightforward with her stepfather about what the Kardashians didn’t like about her memoir. “She’s been very, very good on it. It’s a big loss in my life, not having her there anymore. To me, I mean, I’m sad,” she said.

In June, Kanye West’s wife appeared on “The View” to address her family’s animosity towards Jenner. “In our family, we are always so close and stick through everything, so everything is going to be fine. Maybe their stories are different, maybe their accounts are different, but when all of us were there witnessing some things and seeing things different, it was just a little surprising,” she said.
