Caitlyn Jenner was spotted with her injured pet dog as they were making their way to a veterinary clinic over the weekend.
The 71-year-old former Olympian’s yellow Labrador, named Bertha, was apparently injured when she attempted to scoot under a fence on Sunday, Page Six reported. Following the incident, Jenner rushed her pet dog to a veterinarian, and as they were making their way to the clinic, they were photographed by the paparazzi.
In the photos obtained by the outlet Tuesday, Jenner looked concerned after seeing the hindquarters of Bertha covered in blood. Fortunately, the injury was far from serious, according to an unnamed insider who spoke with the media outlet about the incident.
“The dog was going under the fence and got cut. She was running through a fence,” the insider said of the pooch that the former reality star adopted back in 2017. “She’s good, yeah!”
Meanwhile, an unnamed source recently disclosed to TMZ that Jenner’s sons, 37-year-old Brody, 39-year-old Brandon and 42-year-old Burt, are embarrassed by her decision to run for governor of California. They reportedly think that she’s not qualified for the job, though they haven’t relayed this sentiment to her, the insider said.
Her eldest son Burt has also allegedly expressed his concern for his father’s safety amid her political campaign and wants to make sure that the “I Am Cait” star gets top-of-the-line security amid her new endeavor in life, the report said.
Although her three sons did not have the courage to tell her that they feel she’s unqualified for the position, they did advise her to reconsider and just drop the whole thing when she spoke with them via phone the night before she publicized her decision to run for governor last Friday, the report added.
Jenner seems to have no luck in getting the support of her family as the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie, are reportedly also against her gubernatorial bid. Unnamed sources told TMZ that aside from the tension she caused when she divorced their mother Kris Jenner, they also do not share the same political views.
