'Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare' Release Date This November: New Screenshot Features Hovertank
Developer Sledgehammer Games revealed a new screenshot from upcoming first-person shooter “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.” The photo features a hovertank.
“Check out the Prototype T-740 Hovertank, Sledgehammer Games' vision for how tanks will evolve in #AdvancedWarfare,” the Foster City, California-based company said June 30 on the “Call of Duty” Facebook page.
And yes, you get to drive it.
The “Advanced Warfare” screenshot is from an in-game campaign called “Bio-Lab,” which the developer showed in a private screening during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles last month. Players drive the tank and control the vehicle’s firepower.
Sledgehammer Games’ “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” will be coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 4.
The game will take place in the future, when a new type of combat exists. “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey will play the role of Jonathan Irons, the CEO and founder of “Atlas,” the largest private military company in the world. Atlas is responsible for the creation and development of some of the most advanced technologies on the planet, and engages in shady and secret operations with anyone who pays him the right amount. Irons wages war against America because of his belief that the country hasn’t successfully installed democracies in various areas on Earth. He also believes America continues to waste its resources on changing the global balance of powers.
