'Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare' Release Date Tuesday: Zombies DLC Confirmed
Zombies are coming to Activision’s “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” in a season pass that will set players back $50. The pass will also grant players access to four multiplayer DLC packs to be released through 2015 -- Havoc, Reckoning, Supremacy and Ascendance.
“This just in, Zombies are back as part of the ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ season pass! Stop by any GameStop to pick up one of the most anticipated games to launch this year, along with 4-multiplayer map packs, Atlas Gorge, and yes – ZOMBIES,” GameStop revealed in a press release on Sunday.
“Advanced Warfare” will launch Tuesday for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC, and the game’s “Day Zero” addition launched on Monday.
Those who purchased season passes will also be able to download weapons and an additional multiplayer map, Atlas George, on Tuesday.
The limited edition Xbox One version of “Advanced Warfare” is available at GameStop for $449 on Monday.
“Advanced Warfare” was developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. The game will take place in 2054, when a new type of combat exists. “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey will play Jonathan Irons, the CEO and founder of “Atlas,” the largest private military company in the world. Atlas is responsible for the creation and development of some of the most advanced technologies on the planet, and engages in shady and secret operations with anyone who pays him enough.
Irons wages war against America because of his belief that the country hasn’t successfully installed democracies in various areas on Earth. He also believes America continues to waste its resources on changing the global balance of power.
