  • Activision announced "Call of Duty: Warzone" Season 3 recently
  • Devs also revealed the upcoming season's content
  • It also teased about the "Operation Rapid Sunder," which fans believe is the Nuke event

"Call of Duty: Warzone" Nuke event is rumored to be the last straw that would utterly destroy the current Verdansk map. Earlier, Activision announced the start of Season 3, somehow hinting at the massive change that could happen to the game's current map. For players excited about the Nuke event, here are some important things they should take note of.

"Call of Duty: Warzone" devs confirmed the start time of the much-awaited in-game event. Players should be on the lookout starting 3 p.m. EDT on April 21, 2021, to see how things unfold. For those who could not make it, there are players who would later upload their experience on various social media outlets like YouTube or Twitch.

To access the rumored Nuke event in "Call of Duty: Warzone," players should first make sure that their game is updated. This way, they could prevent experiencing any issues or having trouble accessing the right operation. The "Call of Duty" blog refers to the event as the "Operation Rapid Sunder," so players should look for this one in the game's menu. It is also important to log into the game and sign in to the mode before 3 p.m. EDT to see the Nuke event live.

Fans believe that the Nuke event would be the last course of action to eliminate the surging hoards of Zombies in Verdansk. It can be recalled that in the previous season of "Call of Duty: Warzone," a cargo tanker let out the Undead in Verdansk. The presence of the Zombies eventually grows, which results in the creation of contamination zones on the map.

Players can only access these contaminated areas with gas masks on. It is worth noting that the devs do not mention anything about the Nuke event in the official blog. However, fans believe that the operation happening in-game on April 21 would be the dire solution to resolve the current situation in Verdansk. After the event, the battle royale title will get an update at 12 a.m. on April 22.

The update will introduce the third season of "Call of Duty: Warzone" alongside three new Operators, six new weapons and new maps.
