Call of Duty: Warzone Players Not Happy With Overpowered Vehicles
KEY POINTS
- Activision is facing massive backlash over the 'overpowered' vehicles in Call of Duty: Warzone
- Players took it to Reddit and Twitter to express their displeasure over the issue
- Activision is yet to comment or make a fix about the problem
Call of Duty: Warzone has been one of the most popular battle royale video games to date, but it isn’t one without flaws. In fact, a lot of players are already complaining about one specific aspect of the game.
While it has been only over two weeks since Warzone was launched, players have already expressed their disappointment over the vehicles found throughout the map. Gamers think that the vehicles are too overpowered and are running the game.
In a recent Reddit post (h/t GameRant), user OhioBoi17 shared a video of him going against a giant truck. While the player was able to hit the truck’s window while inside a building, it was all in vain as the truck simply drove in reverse and hit him.
As the Reddit user noted, it was frustrating since he was completely inside the building, with the window even too small for any part of the truck to get through it. However, he still took damage and got killed in the process.
The Redditor was hardly alone with the issue, as it has been an ongoing problem in Warzone since its release. In fact, in the comments sections of the post, other players admitted that the same thing happened to them.
“I had this same s**t happen to me! Vehicle hit boxes have been broken since day one but some time between now and the last update they allowed a blind person into the hitbox lab,” one user commented on the Reddit post.
“4 out of 6 games playing Solo I was killed by a truck. Warzone is my favorite First Player Driver game, another player jibed.
A lot of players have also aired their displeasure over the unfair vehicles ion Twitter for some time now.
With more and more players expressing their dismay, it is only a matter of time before Activision addresses the issue. While there is no doubt Call of Duty: Warzone is growing in popularity day by day, the developers need to make the changes to make it a fair battleground.
It should also be beneficial as they try to hold their own against the more popular battle royale games such as Fortnite and Apex Legends.
