Camilla Parker Bowles has begun celebrating the holiday season.

On Thursday, The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a Christmas party and invited kids to decorate the Christmas tree in Clarence House. Camilla opted to celebrate with the children from charities supported by Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. Clarence House shared several photos from the event.

One photo on Twitter featured Camilla with a little boy decorating the Christmas tree. “This is the 13th year children have been invited to Clarence House to help decorate the tree with The Duchess,” the caption read.

After decorating Clarence House’s Christmas tree, Camilla led the children to a table filled with delicious meals and drinks. She also served them food and even talked to them as shown in these photos.

Royal fans were very pleased with Camilla’s effort. Many praised the duchess for hosting a children’s party that was as grand as the one in Clarence House.

“I love how it’s all fun food, such a lovely day for the kiddies. Well done camilla,” one commented.

“A fantastic day for children, families and our wonderful roald dahl nurses especially Jennifer,” Claire Doherty added.

“People need special occasions in their life to escape the mundane everyday environment they endure every waking hour...SWEET XXXX,” another user wrote.

Reports are rife that Prince Charles will be taking over the throne soon. Royal experts also shared their thoughts on Camilla’s possible title when the Prince of Wales becomes king. Many believe that she will be queen.

“She will be Queen Consort if he becomes the King, there is no question about that,” royal author Robert Jobson explained to Express. “When I wrote the story that they were getting married I said she that would be Duchess of Cornwall but she could be Princess of Wales, but she chose not to. But she will be Queen Consort unless there is a change in the law.”

“I think she is a popular lady. She does her job, she supports him, she is not in competition with the Prince of Wales in any way. She has her own causes,” Jobson added. “I think that people will be accepting of her as the future Queen Consort.”
