Camilla Parker Bowles has always been proud of her connection and relationship with her great-grandmother Alice Keppel. But by the looks of it, there is also a downside to this connection.

According to New Idea, the Duchess of Cornwall shares the same great-grandmother with Dru Edmonstone. The latter was recently accused of tampering with reviews for the West Highland Way Hotel in Blanefield, Stirlingshire, in the Scottish Highlands.

9 News Australia also claimed that the hotel released a warning on its Trip Advisor page advising the public that someone might have interfered with their reviews.

“TripAdvisor has grounds to investigate that individuals or entities associated with or having an interest in this property may have attempted to interfere with traveler reviews and/or the Popularity Index for this property. Please take this into consideration when researching your travel plans. We make our best efforts to identify suspicious content and are always working to improve the processes we use to assess traveler reviews,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, Camilla also made headlines this week after some not-so-known facts about her were unveiled by Reader’s Digest. According to the publication, Camilla’s engagement ring from Prince Charles has historical significance.

The Duchess of Cornwall’s ring features a five-carat emerald cut in the center and three diamond baguettes on each side with a gold band. Camilla’s ring once belonged to the Queen Mother, Prince Charles’ grandmother.

And when it comes to her royal title, Camilla is not only known as the Duchess of Cornwall, she is also entitled to use the title of Princess of Wales. However, she opted not to use the title because it previously belonged to Princess Diana.

When she’s in Scotland, Camilla is known as the Duchess of Rothesay. And after Prince Charles is crowned as King, she is expected to be given the title of Queen Consort.

“According to legal precedent, as the wife of the monarch she will be Queen Consort, even if she styles herself as Princess Consort instead—just as she is technically now the Princess of Wales but has never used the title,” royal correspondent Emily Nash told Hello! magazine.
