Camilla Parker Bowles is not a fan of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

According to previous reports, Camilla and Ferguson were never close because the latter was cordial to Princess Diana. In 2018, they reportedly fought over Princess Diana when they visited Queen Elizabeth II in Scotland. Ferguson allegedly confronted Camilla and blamed her for the pain she caused to the late Princess of Wales. Royal expert Phil Dampier discussed the Duchess of Cornwall’s relationship with both the Duke and Duchess of York.

“Camilla Parker Bowles is not a fan of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. She would never confront Fergie as that would give her more status, but she would make her feelings known through Charles,” Dampier said.

He added that the Epstein scandal confirmed Camilla’s worst fears about her brother-in-law. Meanwhile, Camilla’s husband and Prince Andrew have never been close and they often stoodd apart during Trooping the Colour, Remembrance Day and Christmas. However, the Prince of Wales has been worried about his younger brother’s behavior because his controversy is the “biggest crisis to hit the monarchy” since Princess Diana’s death in 1997.

Prince Charles was reportedly the one who asked the Queen to advise Prince Andrew to step down. Princess William also supported the decision. The Duke of Cambridge was convinced that it was the right thing to do.

According to Dampier, despite the tough things happening to the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have proven their potential. He shared how Middleton and Prince William have improved over the years.

“The one bright spot is William and Kate, who have come through a sticky patch to emerge much stronger and they are now stepping up to the plate. Both have matured a lot and are now playing a full role as senior royals,” Dampier said of the future king and queen consort.

As for Camilla and Ferguson’s relationship, another insider said that things have gotten better. In fact, Prince Charles’ second wife helped Ferguson regain her royal standing. Ferguson was the patron of her late brother’s charity, the Elephant Family but the heir apparent kicked her out. Camilla reinstated the Duchess of York’s position.
