Camilla Parker Bowles Stuns In ‘Dreamy’ Dress Coat, Returns After Holiday Absence
Camilla Parker Bowles returned to official duties on Wednesday.
The wife of Prince Charles visited Elphinstone Hall for a ceremony, where she introduced Professor George Boyne as the new principal and vice chancellor at the University of Aberdeen.
Camilla was photographed looking stylish during her outing. She rocked a stunning gray dress coat with checkered pockets and a peter pan neckline. She also wore very light makeup and her hair was coiffed to perfection.
The Duchess of Cornwall also serves as the chancellor of the university. She also handed an honorary degree to Edward Stevenson, an employee at the university’s biomedical physics department for more than four decades.
Meanwhile, Camilla’s sighting was a first since before the holidays. She previously visited an airbase near Chippenham as the patron of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. After the event on Dec. 14, Camilla missed two important holiday gatherings with the royal family.
The mom of two was unable to attend the Christmas lunch hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at the Buckingham Palace days before Christmas. It was revealed that she was suffering from colds at that time. Camilla also skipped last year’s Christmas Day church service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.
It is possible that the Duchess of Cornwall still hasn’t recovered from her illness on Christmas Day. But it is believed that she was in Sandringham with the other members of the royal family.
Earlier this week, Camilla made headlines after her daughter was linked to Prince William in heated controversy. It was revealed that Prince William and Camilla’s daughter Laura used to have terrible fights.
Katie Nicholl said in her book “William and Harry” that Prince William and Laura blamed each other for their broken families.
“William would blame Camilla for all the hurt she has caused his mother, which would send Laura into a rage. Laura was not having any of it,” Nicholl said. “She would take a hard line and fire back at William ‘your father has ruined my life,’” Nicholl added.
