Camilla Parker Bowles Will Be Accepted As Queen For This ‘Popular’ Reason
Camilla Parker Bowles will be accepted as queen by the public, according to a royal expert.
Phil Dampier told Express that Camilla has become quite popular among the British people in recent years. According to Clarence House, Camilla will take the tile of princess consort when Prince Charles becomes king. However, the majority of Brits are convinced that she will be called queen consort.
Camilla’s official title when Prince Charles takes over the throne is being discussed extensively because there are still some people that dislike the Duchess of Cornwall. Some of Princess Diana’s avid supporters have not forgiven Camilla for destroying the Princess of Wales’ marriage to Prince Charles.
But Prince Charles popularity has increased significantly in recent years. However, there will still be a minority that will dislike him and Camilla due to the late Princess of Wales.
“There’s a hard-core of people who don’t like Prince Charles and I don’t think anything’s going to change their mind. Certainly not those who will never forgive him for what they perceive as the way he treated Diana,” he said.
But Dampier also thinks that most people respect Prince Charles and appreciate the fact that he has been handed an extremely difficult task because he has been waiting all his life to become king.
In related news, Prince Charles also made headlines this week after it was revealed that Prince William usually mentioned his dad’s status whenever he got into fights.
Katie Nicholl, a royal biographer, said in “William and Harry” that the second in line the throne was aware of his princely status even as a young kid. Whenever he would get into a fight with his classmates, he would tell everyone that his dad was a real prince and say that his dad can beat up the other boy’s father.
Growing up, Prince Charles and Princess Diana also gave their eldest son the nickname Basher Wills because of his temperament. Princess Diana decided to send Prince William to an actual school so that he could experience what it was like to interact with other kids his age.
