Canada To Join Pan Pacific Free Trade Talks
Canada is set to join 10-nation talks aimed at forming an Asia-Pacific free trade agreement, Prime Minister Stephen Harper said at the G-20 summit in Mexico Tuesday.
The agreement is part of Canada's bid to minimize its reliance on the U.S. as a trading partner, as the country positions itself more towards fast-growing, emerging economies.
