Cannes 2021: Bella Hadid Wears Gown With Open Neckline, Covers Chest With Lungs Necklace

Bella Hadid created a buzz anew as she wore a jaw-dropping outfit at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival in France Saturday.

The 24-year-old model donned a black couture gown with an open neckline paired with a massive golden necklace shaped like human lungs. The look was designed by Daniel Roseberry, reported Vogue.

Hadid thanked Roseberry on her Instagram Stories, writing, "This creation of yours is a dream come true. Art & reality. You and your mind are truly incredible!!! Thank you for Ever!!!"

She also took to Instagram Stories to share her outfit photos posted by a fan.

"Bella Hadid attends the 'Tre Piani (Three Floors)' screening during the Film Festival in Cannes, France," the fan wrote in the caption of the said post.

Roseberry created the look for Schiaparelli's Fall 2021 collection. Describing it, the brand's official Instagram handle noted, "Golden trompe l'œil lungs with rhinestones. Black wool-crepe dress. Lacing in the back."

Netizens took to Twitter to share photos of Hadid's look and their reactions.

One of the users commented, "Lungs, yeah, great thing to remind us of after the past 18 f--king months, nice."

Some fans seemed confused if the necklace was shaped like lungs or a tree and said, "look, but I really want to know if the tree is a necklace or part of the dress?"

There were some netizens who criticized the look by saying, "To me, she’s not very attractive trying too hard with hair and roots."
