“Most of her students qualify for free lunch and despite living in Alaska, many of them come to school w/o warm clothes,” the Twitter user added.
I work for a non profit who provides shelter to the homeless & ex-cons feeds them as well as we work within the community to give them the tools they need to live life on life terns. Right now we are doing a Santa Tree for their children and badly need donations. $anonymous1209

This endeavor seemingly stemmed from a lot of people urging Cardi B to donate instead of buying a purse worth $88K.
Should I spend 88K for this damn purse ? Omggg it’s tempting 😩😩😩

Donate the money to hungry people. Tweets like this are why we want to eat the rich.

People are out here hurting. Can’t buy food or pay their rent, and you are seriously talking about a purse for tht kind of money. Why not just donate it to your fans. We are the reason why you have tht money to waste.

“Okay let’s do this challenge! Since ya want to tell me to donate so much...” she wrote.
“Drop receipts on what YOU have donated too. I will match it and donate to [an] organization you have donated as well. LETS START NOW!” she added.
Back in April, Cardi B, in partnership with Fashion Nova, gave away $1,000 every hour until it reached $1 million to those who were directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the recipients of Cardi B’s donation was a nurse assistant from Massachusetts. According to TMZ’s report back in April, the nurse assistant used the money to buy groceries and essentials for her children and gave $100 to a neighbor, who lost her job.
