Cardi B Films Sinking Yacht, Says 'Bye-Bye' To It [Watch]

Cardi B has shared a video she took of a sinking yacht, to which she eventually said, "Bye-bye."

The 45-second clip shows a yacht being engulfed by water while there's another yacht nearby. In the background, the 29-year-old rapper can be heard explaining that there's no big boat around to provide assistance.

"It's sinking! Oh my God, they can't do nothing about it. There ain't no big boat that can save it. It's gone!" she says, before adding, "Bye-bye."

In the caption of the clip, which she Tweeted Sunday, Cardi wrote, "I can't believe I'm actually watching a yacht sink."

Netizens were quick to share their reactions to her shocking post. While some questioned the rapper why she chose to film the incident instead of helping, a number of fans came to the rescue and defended her.

"You're going to sit there and record instead of helping?" one of them noted. In response, a fan said, "Tell us how you would help, aquaman."

Another netizen asked the rapper, "Why didn't you do something instead of recording this horrific accident?" A fan then answered, "wtf is she gonna do?? swim out there and pick it back up?"

"I'm sure the owner called when he hit the rocks. I'm sure he had time for that before abandoning ship lol," another fan wrote in the rapper's defense. "Only thing getting that out is a crane."

Cardi reportedly filmed the incident while spending quality time with her husband, Offset, and their kids in an undisclosed location over the weekend.

The rapper also shared a series of clips and images from the said trip, including one in which she can be seen flaunting her colorful outfit.

Cardi and Offset tied the knot in September 2017 and welcomed their first child, Kulture, in July 2018. The couple then introduced their second child, a baby boy, in September last year. However, they didn't reveal his name and face.

Last month, the rapper made headlines when she finally uploaded photos of her son.

On the work front, Cardi is currently filming "Fast X," which is slated for release on May 19, 2023. She will also appear in the movie "Assisted Living." Offset, on the other hand, will be next seen in the movie "American Sole."
