On the midseason premiere of “Castle,” fans got to see Castle (Nathan Fillion) take on his first real case as a private investigator. On the next episode, “Private Eye Caramba,” viewers will see Castle get hired by his first real client – not just making one up. Now the synopsis for the episode reveals just who will be hiring the new P.I.

According to the synopsis for episode 12, Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle will be swept up in another case when a telenovela actress is killed. However, the couple will not be working the case together. Beckett will be called in with the police while someone else enlists Castle to get involved – the star of the show. The leading lady hires Castle to look into the matter after something starts to seem a bit fishy.

The promo for the episode reveals that the job may have some unexpected hazards. As the newly licensed private investigator digs deeper into the case someone will not like him asking too many questions. The promo teases him being held captive and held at knifepoint! Will Castle survive his new job?

Plus, it looks like Beckett’s infatuation with Castle’s new job will continue. After asking him to come to bed wearing a Sherlock Holmes-style hat, the promo shows her enamored yet again. She tells her new husband that she’s looking for “a private dick.”
