“The Catch” Season 2, episode 7 will see Ben (Peter Krause) and Margot (Sonya Walger) being forced to work together for the sake of their teenage daughter.

In “The Birthday Party,” the two characters will team up to throw a wonderful 16th birthday bash for their daughter. However, since Ben and Margot no longer get along well, they will find it very difficult to agree on a lot of things.

In the previous episode, Tessa (Philippa Coulthard) reunited with her biological mother after 15 years. Tessa was adopted when she was just a baby because Margot couldn’t raise her. After her return, Margot decided to have Tessa’s DNA tested to know for sure that Ben is her father, and the results came out positive.

While this is happening, Ben’s fiancée, Alice (Mireille Enos), will also be preoccupied with the return of her ex-fiancé. In the teaser released by ABC for episode 7, Alice’s unnamed ex-partner knocks on her door while Ben is also at her home. The male character also sits down for an interview with Alice and Ben and asks questions that the couple will find very difficult to answer.

In one of the scenes, the man asks Alice if Ben is supportive of their decision to work together. Alice tells her ex-boyfriend that Ben is very much supportive of everything that she does. However, the clip also teases the connection between Alice and her ex as the former couple exchange loaded stares at some moments. Ben also calls Alice and asks how her day is, and she says that everything’s fine while looking at her ex-fiancé from a distance.

“The Catch” Season 2, episode 7 will air on ABC on April 20 at 10 p.m. EST.
