Cate Blanchett, the Oscar-winning actress with films such as The Aviator and the Lord of the Rings series under her belt, is set to be one of the stars of this summer's Lincoln Center Festival in New York City.

The festival, which will run from July 5 through August 5, features a series of performances by various artists.

And that's not her only gig this year.

Blanchett is reprising her role as Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings prequel The Hobbit, which has been split into two movies.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on Dec. 14, while The Hobbit: There And Back Again will arrive in December 2013.
