Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra Are Getting Married: Report
“Teen Mom” stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have a lot of planning to do, according to a new report. Not only are the two expecting a child together, but the couple announced that their wedding is back on, a source told In Touch Weekly.
Surprised? Some thought they were not destined to walk down the aisle after Lowell and Baltierra called off their engagement while they were on the VH1 reality show “Couples Therapy,” but apparently they felt forced to go through with the nuptials by the entertainment world. “They said they’d been pressured by producers and their managers . . . to get married on TV,” the source said, according to Radar Online.
But things are apparently different now and the stars want to be married next early next year after their bundle-of-joy arrives. "They’ve rescheduled the wedding for next spring, after the baby comes,” a source told the magazine.
The duo appeared on reality television for the first time when they agreed to do the first season of “16 and Pregnant.” Lowell and Baltierra were the only couple to choose adoption for their child, and even though their daughter Carly had different parents, they became regulars on “Teen Mom,” the spin-off to “16 and Pregnant.”
When they gave Carly up for adoption, they didn’t think they would be able to provide for her, but Lowell said things are different now that they are older and more stable. “This time, we’re ready to be parents,” she reportedly told the magazine. “We’re 22, have full-time jobs, a four-bedroom house and a solid relationship. There’s no doubt in our minds that it will still be hard -- but we’re ready.”
Lowell and Baltierra announced they were going to be parents when they posted a picture of Lowell’s burgeoning baby bump on August 6. “#it'sofficial #4months @tylerbaltierramtv,” she captioned the black and white Instagram image.
The news didn’t come as a shock to most fans since the star’s mother April Stotts leaked the pregnancy news to Us Weekly in May.
