The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) announced award recipients in three of this year's 32 media categories at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards presented nationally by RÖKK Vodka and locally by Wells Fargo at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles Sunday night.

Additional awards were presented in New York on March 19, and the final awards will be presented in San Francisco on May 14 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.

Hosted by Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones, the 2011 event was a star-studded event visited by the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Lisa Vanderpump and Tori Spelling.
