The 2013 Council of Fashion Designers of America, or CFDA, Awards will commence Monday night, when designers and fashion industry members will be awarded for their accomplishments in style. Held at Lincoln Center in New York City, the awards will be attended by a slew of Hollywood celebrities and presenters like Hillary Clinton.

While the awards show and red carpet will not be available to watch via live stream, a video of the night will stream on Style.com the following day, beginning at 10 a.m. EST on Tuesday. Online users can watch a broadcast of the show on the site’s special CFDA Awards page.

The red carpet scheduled ahead of the ceremony will be hosted by Ugandan model Kiara Kabukuru, and the awards will be hosted by television personality Andy Cohen. Clinton is the most anticipated presenter of the night and will give the Founder's Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert to famed designer, Oscar de la Renta. Designer Ralph Lauren will present the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award to Vera Wang, Jessica Chastain will give the International Award to Riccardo Tisci, and Linda Evangelista will present the Media Award to Style.com Editor-at-Large Tim Blanks. Other presenters will include Kerry Washington for Womenswear Designer of the Year, Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth will present the three Swarvoski Awards, Dan Stevens will award the Menswear Designer Award, and Rose Byrne will present the Accessories Designer Award.

According to several blogs, a myriad of celebrities are scheduled to attend, including Rooney Mara, Sofia Vergara, Elizabeth Olsen and Tobey Maguire. Supermodels Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lime and Miranda Kerr are also expected to be guests.

The CFDA Awards, a major event in the fashion industry to award talent since 1981, has become a star-studded event over the years thanks to social media and the Internet. “I think it reflects a broader shift over the last few years where fashion has become more and more popular,” Style.com Editor-in-Chief Dirk Standen told Fashionista. “The Internet has had a lot to do with that. It’s entertainment on a par with movies and music.” The nonprofit association awards accomplishments in American fashion and the related arts, including journalism, creative vision and lifetime achievement, highlighting the appreciation of the fashion arts.
