Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson used Twitter to show off his latest tattoo -- a picture of estranged wife Evelyn Lozada's face.

Johnson changed his avatar on the social media website earlier this week to a photo of him sitting down, with his hand to his face, seemingly in deep thought. Wearing shorts, a facial portrait of Lozada is clearly visible on his right calf. Under the drawing is the name "Eve."

Twitter users had a lot to say about the tattoo. "I really want to know why @ochocinco tatted Evelyn's face on his leg post divorce," said @TeeSplash101." Johnson replied, saying, "Divorce? Child please ... that's my WIFE."

@MontaviousX said, "You've officially lost it my man," to which Johnson responded, "I never had it to begin with, I march to the beat of my own drum, F public opinion."

Johnson and Lozada married in July.Things reportedly went horribly amiss after Lozada saw a receipt for condoms in the trunk of their car after dinner in Miami a few weeks ago.

A heated argument ensued, and according to a police report obtained by TMZ, Johnson grabbed Lozada, head-butted her, and screamed at her: "I don't give a [expletive]! I don't give a [expletive] about my career!" Lozada then "fled on foot to a neighbor's house to get away from Johnson."

Lozada filed for divorce days after the incident. This is not the first time since Lozada left the NFL star that Johnson has used twitter to express remorse about his actions the night he allegedly hit the reality star.

Last week, he broke his silence on twitter to address the incident that ended his career with the Miami Dolphins and his marriage. "Don't feel bad, my black [expletive] messed up, I made the bed now I gotta lay n it," Johnson wrote.

Days later, Lozada spoke out in a "Nightline" interview with ABC's Amy Robach.

"I would like for him to tell me that he got help and that he is working on himself, whenever I talk to my sister or my girlfriend, I always say I want the best for him. I really do! And he is a good guy who made a bad choice. He loves football, he is very driven, a great dad," Lozada said.

Lozada has yet to make a comment about Johnson's latest body art, and it is unclear as to whether or not this attempt to salvage their marriage will work.
