“Chicago P.D.” Season 6, episode 19 will revolve around a murder case that has a connection to the team. The investigation of the murder will reveal some “dark” secrets and “unsettling truths.”

There is a lot to look forward to this Wednesday when it comes to Chicago based shows. A promo video posted on the YouTube channel of “Chicago P.D.” teased the events that Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) will face next week, along with scenes from the other popular shows “Chicago Med” and “Chicago Fire.”

The promo scenes of the next episode of “Chicago P.D.” show the murder of Kim Burgess’ (Marina Squerciati) boyfriend. The Intelligence Unit officer will be there at the crime scene and even hear the gunshots, but the crime in itself isn’t as big as the truth that is revealed during the investigation.

A huge stash of cash and other evidence at the crime scene suggests that Burgess’ boyfriend may have been leading a double life. The investigators quickly realize that “something’s wrong” with the man who got shot.

Burgess appears to be able to reach her boyfriend just in time to save his life. A scene from episode 19 shows the shocked Intelligence Unit officer looking at the blood on her hands, as people ask her about what happened.

Hank will get personally involved in the case. The cell phone of Burgess’ boyfriend may contain some clues about what happened. The priority for the investigators is to keep the findings of the case confidential because it is connected to one of their officers.

The official Twitter page of the TV series emphasized the fact that Burgess will be the focus of the next episode. “ It's loving Burgess hours,” the post read.

“Chicago P.D.” Season 6, episode 19 is titled “What Could Have Been.” The episode airs on April 24, at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
