Chloe Grace Moretz Seeks Protection From Alleged Stalker Terry Daniel Quick
Chloe Grace Moretz filed for a restraining order against her alleged stalker, Terry Daniel Quick, and the court has granted her requested.
In the court documents obtained by E! News, the 20-year-old actress detailed the various incidences where Quick stalked her and some members of her family.
According to Moretz, the stalking started last month after Quick allegedly followed Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham to a concert and then to a club on Nov. 19. He has also been posting “alarming, annoying and harassing” messages on his social media account, and he been reaching out to Moretz through the same platform.
On Nov. 29, Quick was arrested for stalking Moretz from LAX to her home. He also tried to gain entry to her property by ringing the doorbell. It was Moretz’s brother, Trevor Duke Moretz, who answered the door at that time.
A day later, a judge signed the actress’ request. Quick is now required to stay 100 yards away from Moretz, according to the New York Daily News. The “Carrie” actress also noted in the court documents that Quick is mentally ill. Earlier this year, he tweeted that the actress was the love of his life and said that they will get married.
In September, Quick also retweeted nearly all of Moretz’s post, which the actress thought was quite “alarming.” As of late, Moretz has not issued an official statement regarding her filing.
Meanwhile, Moretz and her boyfriend sparked reconciliations rumors in September. At that time, Beckham shared a photo of himself sitting on the couch with a woman’s foot resting on his leg. In his caption, David and Victoria Beckham’s son expressed how much he missed his girl.
Last month, Moretz and Beckham attended an event together, which served as an indirect confirmation that they have reconciled. Beckham also recently moved to the country to pursue photography in college, which made it easier for him to spend time with Moretz.
