Chris Brown And Karrueche Tran Break Up: Will He Get Back With Rihanna?

Chris Brown has split up with on-and-off again girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Brown admitted this week that he's no longer dating the Vietnamese model, who he dated for two years after breaking up with Rihanna in 2009. They then rekindled their relationship earlier this year, after the singer reunited with Rihanna before splitting up with her again.

“[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single! I’m still good friends with them. [Now] it’s just me being focused with my music and doing this stuff. Right now, I’m in my prime,” Brown told Hollywood Life at a charity event for his Symphonic Love Foundation. He was there to provide shoes to at-risk-youths in Compton, Calif.

The Brown, Rihanna, and Tran love triangle certainly has been confusing. In October, Brown broke up with Tran before getting back with Rihanna and releasing a video, “The Real Chris Brown." The video shows private moments between him and Rihanna while the two are at a club, and cuts to him traveling with Tran. Brown admitted that he loves both women, saying, “I’m stressed out … when you share history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it’s kinda difficult [sic]."

He mused in the back of a taxi in New York, "Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that.” At that point, Brown and Tran had been together for close to two years.

Then in May, Brown confirmed during a radio interview that he and Rihanna had broken up. “The way I look at it is ... I’m always going to love that person, but people have differences, and people have different wants and needs.”

He then blamed part of their falling out on Rihanna being 25-years old.

“At the end of the day, [Rihanna’s] a young girl. I can’t really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young ... and I’m young too [sic],” he said. “I just got to step forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be, instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket.”

Weeks later, he was back in Tran’s arms. Now, however, it seems Brown just wants to take time to focus on himself and his music. It remains to be seen if he and his former flame Rihanna will once again rekindle their romance.
