Chris Brown Slams Karrueche Tran, Says She’s Not A Victim Of Abuse In Instagram Rant
“Loyal” singer Chris Brown took to Instagram Monday after he discovered ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran wanted to testify against the embattled R&B singer. He allegedly punched her in the stomach, kicked her down a flight of stairs, threatened to shoot her and made other death threats, sources told TMZ Sunday.
“I’m so sick of these thirsty adults,” he wrote in the comment section on Baller Alert’s official Instagram page the day after the TMZ story was published. “Her team is trying their best. For what? No one has served me and the lengths they are going, I should call them stalkers. What’s even more f---ed up is that, they played off my past by saying I abused her. C'mon now, opening old wounds to make Kae a victim, that’s some evil shit. Sad part, y’all believe it. ‘Leave her alone.’ Provoking me to spazz so they can have something. Notice that this shit happens when they need to promote something. No one cares, especially me. That’s why I’m being slandered. Nobody will care about them if my name isn’t involved. I want nothing to do wit her… you think I wanna chase or still be with someone who would try to destroy me??? She doesn’t need a restraining from me. I need one from them.”

He added in an additional comment: “And I will not just accept papers from any lawyer and I will not go to court to admit guilt to further tarnish who I am. I pled guilty in the Rihanna case because I was. I refuse to allow these evil hearted people to label me and lie because they think it will skyrocket their career. Just stay away from me.”
Brown, who is now 28 years old, pleaded guilty to one count of assault with the intent of doing great bodily injury in 2009 after he got in an altercation with his ex-girlfriend, pop star Rihanna. He was sentenced to five years of probation. He also had to serve 180 days in jail, Sandi Gibbons, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, said at the time, according to CNN. He was 20 years old when he was convicted.
“This is not an easy sentence,” Gibbons said when Brown was given jail time.
Brown “embraces this as an opportunity to get his life back on track and get his career back on track,” Los Angeles Criminal Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said in 2009.
Rihanna never testified against Brown after he copped a plea deal, but Tran was reportedly willing to. “We're told Karrueche has no fear about testifying,” TMZ wrote.
The actress has reportedly been trying to serve him for two months. He was finally served Thursday with legal documents.
Tran finally served Brown with papers because she wanted to inspire other women who were “brutalized” by men to come forward.
Tran’s team did not respond to TMZ for request to comment.
