Chris Hemsworth Calls Taika Waititi 'Super Helpful' Assistant On The Director's 46th Birthday [Video]

Chris Hemsworth took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a fun video featuring him, hair designer Luca Vannella and director Taika Watiti, who turned 46.

The 38-year-old actor wished the director with a video and captioned it, "Happy birthday @taikawaititi Not only a brilliant director but also super helpful with vocal warmups and hair and makeup assistance, truly a man of many talents #thorloveandthunder."

In the video, Hemsworth is in the dressing room sitting on the chair in Thor's outfit, getting his hair done by Vannella. Watiti is also in the room singing a song while other crew members in the room start laughing.

Soon, Hemsworth also joined Watiti and sang along. Further in the clip, Watiti began to tease Vannella as he tried to "fix" his hair while he was working on Hemsworth’s hair.

Celebrities and fans took to the comments section to share their reaction.

Comedian Celeste Barber wrote, "Well, this looks like a totally sh-t time" while Waititi commented, "Jesus." Australian boxer John Wayne Parr added, "Ha ha he sounds like the greatest boss ever."

Many fans observed the director's sweater that featured Monkey D. Luffy from the manga series and praised him for it.

One of the fans wrote, "I already love Taika, but love that he's wearing a One Piece sweater also!" Another fan wrote, "Yes, you have Seen the ONE PIECE hoodie like me."

On the work front, Hemsworth is currently filming, "Thor: Love and Thunder," which is slated to release on May 6, 2022. While Waititi is directing it and will also be playing Korg in the movie.

On Sunday, the actor took to Instagram to share the official trailer of Marvel's upcoming movie, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" and shared his excitement. "Welcome to the MCU Shang-Chi! Can’t wait to see this," he wrote in the caption. "It’s going to be epic! Out September 3rd."

Besides Marvel's project, Hemsworth will soon be seen in "Escape From Spiderhead," which is currently under post-production. The actor will also be featured in "Furiosa," which is slated to release on June 22, 2023. The movie stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Tom Hardy and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
