Chris Hemsworth Shares 'Extraction 2' On-Set Footage That Features A Riot Scene [Watch]
Chris Hemsworth has shared behind-the-scenes footage from the sets of "Extraction 2," featuring a riot scene.
The 38-year-old actor dropped a 16-seconds video on Instagram on Monday. "Just another quiet day on Extraction 2. Peaceful, serene, relaxing," the actor said looking at the camera.
In the background, fans can see a bunch of police officers fighting with some men, who are seemingly trying to attack them. The place is on fire.
"Just another day on Extraction 2!!" Hemsworth captioned the post with fire emojis.
Many celebrities and fans shared their excitement for the upcoming movie.
Actor Jasin Boland commented, "Such a rad night!, while filmmaker Cristian Prieto wrote, "I hope people are ready for what's coming!" Actor Connor O'Leary said, "Looks like another day at Snapper too."
Some fans wondered if it is a prequel as one of the scenes in the first installment showed Hemsworth's character, Tyler Rake, dying during a rescue mission.
However, one user replied, "You should watch the ending again sure you get in that swimming pool scene."
This scene shows that Hemsworth is still alive, which means the upcoming movie is a sequel and not a prequel.
Some users also requested the actor to release the trailer of his upcoming Marvel movie, "Thor: Love and Thunder," which is slated to release on July 8.
"Extraction" was released on Netflix in April 2020. The movie became one of the biggest openings for the streaming platform as it was viewed by 90 million households in the first four weeks of its release.
The film's writer, Joe Russo, revealed in May 2020 that the first installment had a "loose ending that leaves question marks for the audience."
"Extraction 2" is helmed by director Sam Hargrave and the release date of the movie has not been revealed yet. The flick will also star Golshifteh Farahani, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, David Harbour, Priyanshu Painyuli and Megan Anderson.
