Chris Hemsworth Teases Wife Elsa Pataky On Instagram, Couple Cuddles In Bed On Set Of New Movie
Chris Hemsworth takes his job seriously, but that doesn’t mean he is opposed to teasing his co-star. The actor shared a picture on Instagram alongside his wife as they filmed their upcoming movie “Horse Soldiers.”
In the photo, the couple can be seen on a camera screen laying in bed both looking deep in thought. Although the scene may have been serious, Hemsworth had humorous thoughts. “Day 2 on the set of Horse Soldiers and found myself in bed with @elsapatakyconfidential. Usually work means she's gets a break from me, not today honey,” he wrote.
Patakay posted the same photo hours before her husband. “Day two, Horse soldiers shooting with my on and off screen love @chrishemsworth,” she wrote.
Off screen, Hemsworth is a dedicated family man. In November, Hemsworth was named man of the year by GQ Australia. In the issue of the magazine, his costar “Thor” Tom Hiddleston explained why his pal deserved the title.
“One morning on the set of ‘Thor: Ragnarok,’ I watched Chris zero in on an important scene between Thor and Loki with razor-sharp focus and commitment. The scene required a lot of nuance, but he wanted to shoot it quickly, because he had to be off-set by lunchtime in order to make it to father-daughter day at school in the afternoon,” he said.
“That’s a Man of the Year if ever I saw one,” Hiddleston stated.
The actor’s brother Luke Hemsworth recently credited the star with helping him pursue his acting career further. Although Luke Hemsworth acted in Australia, he later left the acting field to start a flooring business and a family. Following his brother’s success, he hoped to return to the craft but realized he couldn’t afford it, so his brother hired him as a personal trainer.
“I didn’t have any qualifications, but I was always heavily into training, so it was a no-brainer for me,” Luke Hemsworth told Entertainment Tonight. “It was an amazing setup and allowed me to save enough money to come here with my family, which was the next logical step. Without that, we just wouldn’t have been able to afford to do it,” he stated.
