“You can tell today is the happiest day for Katherine. She hasn’t stopped smiling. And Chris seems giddy with excitement,” a source told the People.com “The venue is beautiful. Lots of flowers and greenery everywhere. It’s a very romantic setting for a wedding.”
Chris Pratt, 39, and Katherine Schwarzenegger, 29, began dating in June 2018 and they announced their engagement on social media in January. “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go,” Pratt captioned a loving photo of them hugging while showing off her massive engagement ring while Schwarzenegger wrote, “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.” In April, Pratt also made his red carpet debut with Schwarzenegger at the Avengers: Endgame premiere.
Pratt was previously married to actress Anna Faris, who played the role of the birth mother to Monica and Chandler's twins in the tenth and final season of Friends (2004). Faris met Chris Pratt in early 2007 at the table read in Los Angeles for the film Take Me Home Tonight and they started dating shortly after, became engaged in late 2008 and eloped in 2009. The couple announced their split in 2017 after eight years of marriage. They share one son together, 6-year-old Jack. They are still on good terms following their split, Faris even commented on Pratt’s engagement, “I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!”
This wedding was a star-studded event. At the bridal shower, Oprah Winfrey was one among the several attendees. According to People, a source told, "For someone on the outside, it might seem their engagement came too quickly. But for everyone close to them, it feels like they have been dating much longer than they actually have."
